Avara: Aftershock 1.5b6
The first true Avara mod, Aftershock combines the revolutionary gameplay of Avara with a beautiful new GUI (graphical user interface), beautiful graphics and effects, and unparalleled level design. A talented and extremely dedicated group of Avara enthusiasts developed this innovative mod to provide the Mac gaming community with a combination of the great qualities that Avara possesses, and everything that avid Avara players have been wishing for. Mac gamers who have never even heard of Avara need only download this new stand-alone application to experience the amazing new level of first-person tactical combat that makes Aftershock the total package in Mac gaming.
As was possible in Avara, Aftershock users can read simple documentation on creating their own trenches, forts, castles, weather, and almost any idea of theirs in Avara levels; for example, Aftershock comes equipped with, among other styles of game play, King of the Hill and Fort Warfare situational combat levels. In the vast multitudes of games developed for all computer platforms, Aftershock (mac-only) truly is the game that you have been waiting for, combining unbeatable gameplay, multiplayer options, excellent graphics, unparalleled strategic first-person combat, and most of all, an enjoyable gaming experience that few other games, if any, could match.

| I used to play Avara but quit because I had no time anymore. Now I downloaded this mod and I can only say how much it owns me. I'm wasting at least an hour each day playing this. Great work! Well, the graphics could do with an OpenGL update. But apart from that, it's very nice. Especially the gameplay which is probably a lot better than original Avara and the extra hulls (as far as I can remember, old Avara only had 3 hulls, but THIS HAS 7 DIFFERENT ONES!!!) |
