| You should look at the readme on this website (it isn't installed with the game for some reason) the zoom scope has a problem with the GeForce 3 and GeForce 4 Ti graphics cards--it only happens in Mac OS X version 10.3.2 and with those two cards, FX5200 is fine. Additionally, it only affects the NV Shader path. If you need to play the game with the scope effect then disable the NV Shader path until a fix is made. |

| I have a NVidia 128 card. All the visuals looks
great although now when I zoom with my pistol and sniper rifle, I just get a grey screen.
Can anyone help ( I am on a G4 Dual gig with 1 gig ram) |

| It is really a good game and the fixes looks really promising. Sadly I sold my copy off to a friend of mine when i felt too tired of getting teamkilled JUST to get into the vehicle or get killed for the flag. Afterall, it is a good game and support the developers! :D. |

| I don't know exactly why but my cd will not be recognized. I put it in and it doesn't recognize it as the Halo disc. It is NOT a pirated copy, it is a store bought game. I have a G3 800 with a 32 mb PCI Radeon card (not 7000). By the way the original game worked fine. |

| Perfect! All the visual effects work with my NVidia GeForce 5200 FX! The grass, the water... so beautiful! However, these effects really hurt the frame rate: I had 60fps at 1024x768... now I barely have 30fps at 800x600. Ouch! |

| Fantastic job! I also have an NVidia card (GeForce 4 Ti), and the new shader support is VERY nice! Mmmm, bumpmapping... The framerate hit is not very bad at all. One issue, though, is that I still don't have any environment mapping on player models or vehicles (the player's visor is still solid black). I am going to mess with settings and possibly reinstall to see if I can fix it. Other than that, FANTASTIC job! |

| This update enables pixel shading for GeForce 3 and GeForce 4 Ti cards--and the results are PERFECT. You get the ability to enable Shadows and Specular effects along with pixel shaders when choosing the NV Shader path at the startup dialogue. Water will actually look like water again, you will have the ability to detail textures so bump maps look more realistic, and perhaps most importantly, you will have more textures enabled (remember how the ground/floor used to look like a nondescript colour? It'll have texture, with proper bump maps now.) All of these additional features did not cost much in terms of framerates for me--I'm only getting 2fps less than using NO shaders (the game actually runs fastest using vertex shaders only), in other words, I want to give oral to the programmer who enabled the Nvidia shader path!
Get this update! If you use an Nvidia card it's like having a whole new Mac! |

| excellent job. I had an eMac, and when I got hit with a needler or picked up a health pack it made my screen go black. The update fixed it! GOOD JOB. keep up with the good work.
only thing I thought was going to be in the update was to make your profile longer. oh well. |
