very out of date version to the likes of the PC, and still more fun that Marathon. True M-Look Doom is worth 5 sticks any day.

Twisted Guy (1/30/2002 - version 1.32b1) |
Pretty good. It's amazing what can be done with an old cheesy classic like DOOM, so this is impressive. Lots of room for improvement, but it gives a little life back to good ol' DOOM, and DOOM is a classic example of how brainless, violent shooting can be enjoyable to kill some time. It looks good, the lighting effects are sweet, but it's held back by the terrible sprites, textures, and sounds from DOOM. Legacy also doesn't work correctly with Ultimate DOOM, but it does work with DOOM 2.

Pretty graphics or not, the game itself sucks - always has and always will. Mindless gameplay and nothing more. Legacy is buggy too. Don't waste your time. What are you expecting? A new game? If you like old games, at least show some respect for yourself and play Unreal or something good.

Sorry, wasn't thinking clearly when I wrote that last. Marathon Sucks. Even with Aleph One. Get this instead.
