annoyed (2/16/2002 - version 1.0.4) |
| The following is a quote from the "ReadMe" file that came with either the demo or my AvP disk back when it first came out: "At this moment you will not be able to play multiplayer games between Mac and PC computers, but this issue is being addressed and will be fixed via a Patch soon." Still waiting. Call MacPlay tech support and tell them you want to shoot your PC friends too. It's a great game, but would be much better if they implemented this. |

| Great game! But this patch didn't solve my problem either. The game works nice in MacOS 9, but in X it tells me to insert the cd (it is already mounted). I had the same problem with Giants, which I returned to the store a couple of weeks ago. I give it three stars for a bad os x port, and BAD mail-support. |

Jim Robinson (12/25/2001 - version 1.0.1) |
| Works great. I only have a 400Mhz G4 with AGP Rage card and 384MB RAM. This patch works fine. In fact, I have noticed my game play get faster in OS X, than in 9 but I haven't tried multiplayer yet. |

GodOD2 (11/8/2001 - version 1.0.1) |
| The game is awsome, but the patch gives me the same error about having the CD in the drive when it already is. So I went back to the old version. I don't get it. |

| Oh, by the way, I have a radeon card on a sawtooth. The game has to be played on 9.2.1 for better game play. |

| My screen resolution changes after each level so I can see my desktop behind the game in OS10.1. What's with this? Is there going to be a fix? Still a great game that was worht the wait. |

| REVIEW OF PATCH ONLY. The patch doesn't work on GameRanger and it gives me crap about not having the CD in, when it is in. |

iMACMAN11 (10/29/2001 - version 1.0.1) |
| This game rocks all the way. It took a loooong time to get here, but like Halo, :), it was worth the wait. The intensity of this game will make you so edgy that when your girlfriend comes to give you a goodnight kiss, you'll jump up ten feet into the air and scream like a little girl. . .
trust me. . .
Also, this game, like many aren't ment for younger players. Hence the 'M' rating. I mean, come on, it's a DIRECT adaptation of the movies which were DEFINITELY not for younger audiences.
BUT this game rocks. Go get it. NOW. Go! |

| Two requirements: dramamine and an extra pair of shorts. An option for a bit less dismemberment would be nice for younger players. Great game. |
