| 1.0.4 totally screwed up the controls. Can't play the game anymore. What's going on? |

| Ugh. How could such a small patch cause me so many problems? I hope I'm not the only one.
First off, my movement is all messed up. Pressing forward or backward makes me walk backward. Pressing sidestep left or right makes me walk backwards while I sidestep left or right.
Trying to change the movement controls in the config menu, and any function I try to assign a key to, assigns 'X' to that item. It boggles my mind. However when I go to change my name, all my keys behave normally.
When I start a level, (in particular I was testing it on level Halo (the Flawless Cowboy one), I went out of the landing pod and looked around a bit, and they my HUD and crosshairs would disappear.
Well, that's about it. Anyone else have these problems? |

| Great patch, but the visor on MC is black. What's the problem? I got a radeon 9000 and 10.3.2. |

| Great job w/ the patch... I can't access pixel shaders w/ my R9000 but the vertex shaders are already a large step up from the norm for me at no performance cost... Running fairly smooth on a G4/867 512MB. Just played against my PC friends the other day... good fun. |

| Terrific job from the folks at MacSoft... completely problem free for me, and now I can play with loads and loads of players all over the world! Kudos for getting a stable patch out so quickly.
And a note to all the people complaining about the game in general - this is for rating the PATCH, not the game, and there is a difference. Personally, I don't know what the owner of a Dual G5 is complaining about... I have a Dual as well, and the game runs smooth as silk, so long as I don't keep the resolution maxed on my 23" screen.
Either something is very wrong with his machine, or he has settings that just should not be set. |

| THANK YOU!
I, being in Australia, needed that very much – not many local servers for 1.02 were lying around.
Don't see much difference in performance in anything, but good thing you put the CD required feature in to stem the flow of warez h00rz :) |

How 'bout a demo? (1/27/2004 - version 1.03) |
| MacSoft needs to release demo of Halo for Mac. Just an update will not do. The game ran so amazingly slow on my friend's PC that I want to try it out on my Mac before paying for disappiontment. |

| i have a dual 2ghz G5 with a radion 9600 and panther 10.3.2 - Halo is almost like a watching a slideshow with v1.0 and it's only a bit better with v1.0.3 :( Still not smooth enough to play for long periods of time, hurts my eyes! And this is the fastest Pro - Mac at this time.. god help you guys that bought a consumer Mac to play games on. I feel for you! Maybe things will be better with v1.0.4 !?? ha! |

| Thanks Endymion, shame though when I can play the graphics to the full but unable to use the scope. I hope they fix it. |
