This patch fixes many interface and AI related issues. A few problems still remain; for example the viceroy sends multiple colony ships to planets requiring only one landing for settlement. Fans and fence-sitters will appreciate the effort Quicksilver has put into improving the game. It must be said that the fundamental gameplay and interface mechanics remain unchanged, so this patch is unlikely to win over the many who were disappointed with the initial release.
