| Cool pinball from Little Wing as always...
But not 5 because I had a hard time with graphic issues on my MacMini 2011 with Intel HD 3000 with 10.7.4.
It seems that it is important for the first time that you run it to put it in the application folder. Also it only works in desktop mode. If you try otherwise, graphics aren't useable and you'll have a lot of fun putting it back into desktop mode because you see almost nothing :p Once you have run it from the application folder than you can put it any were else without any problems.

| I do not like it so much. When the ball gets into the game it sound like a midge. The lane at the left takes forever. But mostly I hate that the ball changes "consistence". Sometimes it bouncy like a rubber ball, sometimes heavy like lead. It really favoures centre lane to exit, sometimes it just "falls" suddenly (change direction). I think monster fair is much nicer. |

| The installer problem has been fixed by having a separate installer for OS X 10.3.9. Works fine, and the game is a good one! |

| Still now Windowed Mode for Fairy Tower... Great game, however... I am wondering when they will start a high-score contest for this one... |

| This review is for version 1.1.6 only:
The installer is still broken under OS X 10.3.9, hanging right after the license screen. I reported this weeks ago to Littlewing, when this version first came out on their site, and they were kind enough to send me a zipped version. But they should have either fixed it by now, or made the zipped, manual install, version available here, too.

| Yes the demo is short but this is the best LittleWing title to date. Love it. Support dying pinball! Next machine I'd love to see a larger table. Widescreens displaying portrait style tables makes for some smallish tables. |

| Littlewing makes some of the best pinball simulations. I've been playing Monster Fair (their previous game) for months, with games lasting over a couple of hours. Great story, great gameplay.
HOWEVER:
The biggest drawback for their most recent games (including Fairy Tower) is the INABILITY TO SWITCH TO WINDOWED MODE! This is frustrating! Once you begin a new game (which could last more than two or three hours for an experienced player), there is no way to access the desktop or any other application whatsoever. I have contacted littlewing a couple of times as a registered used of Monster Fair only to receive the response that it is due to some problems in CoreGraphics. However, almost every recent OS X game that possible uses CoreGraphics is able to switch to the backround. So, I guess they don't care much about it... |
