Galder 1.2
Galder is a new fun, addictive and completely interactive puzzle board game. The player must remove gem stones as quickly as possible from the board. It is suitable for both quick and casual gamers. Using the circular board, gamers must turn segments of the board to align same-colored gem stones to successfully remove them.
Compete against your friends online and over local area networks with Galder's excellent network play. Play until you reach the top of the online high score ladder to become the best sorcerer in the world!
Main features:
- Unique background music and sound effects add to the gaming experience.
- Add your scores to an online high score ladder and play until you're at the top of the list.
- Save game states and resume them later.
- Undo and Redo moves you make in the game when you make mistakes.
- Complex OpenGL shaders calculate light refraction inside the gems, for gems that shimmer and twinkle realistically.
- Challenge a friend in a fast-paced or deep-thought head-to-head game.

Version 1.2:
• Added online lobby for enhanced multiplayer gaming.

| I like simple games with lots of eye candy and great sound and Galder has all that!
Would be nice if they added levels or a time out mode to keep things interesting after playing it for a while hence the 4 joysticks and not 5 |

| Galder brings a unique flavor to the gem game genre. The circle gameboard and the movement system make this game stand out from the others. Actually, I could see this game having a port to the iPod, it would work quite well with the scroll wheel. |

| I've been following the progress of Galder for quite some time now and I'm glad to see it finally released in such a polished form. It's a nice puzzle game that is easy to learn but thanks to little complexities hard to master. The multiplayer option puts it further apart from other similar games.
It's mainly a brain game, so if you're trigger finger is better developed than your brain, you might not find it for your taste. I suggest one of those extremely innovative first person shooter to you.
But if you like puzzle games, you might want to give this one a try.
It runs smoothly and stable on both my MacBook Pro and on my iMac G5. |

| I've been playing Galder quite a bit since the public better and I'm quite surprised by the previous responses. Everyone has their own taste of a puzzle game, and I'd say Galder hits a nice range of the casual puzzle goer. It's worth checking out! |
