The Tuttles Madcap Misadventures 1.0
The Tuttles: Madcap Misadventures is an arcade adventure game about a thoroughly modern family trying to bond on a road trip to see the Alamo.
In addition to 40 engaging levels of side-scrolling action, players are treated to animated, comic book style cut scenes brought to life by the fantastic voice-over talents of some of Hollywood’s biggest names: Bob Saget (Barry Tuttle), Jamie Lee Curtis (BarbaraTuttle), Ashley Tisdale (Jess Tuttle), Dominic Scott Kay (Zach Tuttle), Dave Thomas (The Australian), Dave Coulier (The Native and several other characters), and William Shatner. A first-of-its-kind fundraising initiative, benefiting the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation.

| Dull, dreadful, repetitive and with a bug. |

| The game won't load at level 25. Until then, if you can tolerate the nuclear family stereotypes and like side-scrolling games, it's entertaining. |

| There is a bug in this game. The graphics are supposed to be a modern nuclear family, emblematic of the status quo, but all I see on screen is a massive waste of talent and resources.
But seriously, you want to inspire kids? How about making the girl an engineer? How about letting the mom have a real job instead of going shopping? In my opinion, this type of representation is more damaging than any kind of video game violence you could cook up.
Still, the game runs alright and other then screwing up my desktop icons didn't make my computer explode. And I'm sure it will provide enough distraction to at least amuse some brainless pile of mulch out there. So two stars! |
